Volume washer problem

Hi, I have a Pentax voluwash volume washer controlled by water tech auto flow controller. When I close the hose end down and the pressure builds up in the washer the fuse blows. My question is will it be caused by the motor n the voluwash or is it the controller? Here's hoping someone's had similar problem and fixed it by replacing one item and not having to buy the whole volume washer again.
Cheers in advance.

Our volume washer had a fit on Saturday.

Got so hot the outlet hose went soft.

Took it into local pump guys and picked another one up as desperate to wash parlour down.
Was the pressure control switch, needed new switch and impeller as it was warped.

They are passing tomorrow and dropping it off as a spare.

I personally thought it was the motor! Bonus

Could be the motor. The controller packed up on my volume washer, different brand controller. It just kept running and would not switch off. Did not blow the fuse. Mine is a Pentax CAB pump.
