I’ve had some trailer lights to sort out. , I’d usually use crimp connectors or choc blocks to join the wires
A mate gave me some Wago connectors to use what brilliant things they are Just push the wire in and flick the lever down Lifting the lever releases the wire again
A lot it you will no doubt have seen them before. But if you haven’t they are the future

I love them. Saw my sparky use them first and then ordered a bunch. So handy if you need to add or remove things.

Just remember you can’t use one connector for positive and negative like you can with terminal blocks!
