Wagtail spreader

I have a viacon wagtail sower that is normally ultra reliable but for some reason is leaving a 2ft wide stripe between the wheels of the tractor.
Anybody have any experience of this happening before.

Leaking out of the base somewhere most likely,Nitram will find the smallest gap.

Worn band or spout?

Take the agitator out (that 3 pronged thing with 2 big bolts through it) and under it is what looks like a spray paint cap with a hole in it. I'd say yours is either missing or the hole is worn too big. I actually made one from a can lid but cheap enough to buy.

it may be worn bushes and bearings on drive yolk is it more noisey than usual , causes material not to overlap in middle and not through as far / or worn or wrong spout end for type of material fitted
