We are looking for a new bruiser, most likely an electric one as it will fit into our system better.
Any opinions on these? Or any other makes to consider?
I have a korte1000 supplied by kelvin cave which is a very impressive machine, set up right I can just about keep it fed and sweep up the grain shed as I go with the load all. Previously I had a superior 6000 for 10 years rolling about 1000t of grain per year and a few hundred for neighbours/friends. It was a good machine but well shagged when changed. The korte is much heavier in build and will outlast it easily but is a fair bit more money for an equivalent output superior. I dropped on a lightly used one for the same money as a superior machine else I would have had another superior and it is a better machine. That said the kelvin cave rep has an annoying patter in rubbishing the competitors ( particularly superior).
I had no issues with the superior and they were an excellent and helpful company to deal with but I would put the korte against their heavy duty contractor range rather than the superior SM for comparison.
Just re-read and noted you prefer electric. No experience with those I'm afraid by you should be able to power any bruiser/roller with an appropriately sized electric motor.
