Most of the stuff on the net (amazon) is crud and flimsy ends.

I want 3m long run for the collie but where so you get the lightweight chain from? I bought some earlier and its so heavy the poor dog will be weight lighting it off her head.

Whats it called? Spent too much time looking now.

Put in a line of fence wire, 2” off the deck and as long as you like, taut and with a post at each end - one end near the kennel. Then clip a shorter chain onto it. The dog has plenty of space to run and won’t be carrying a ton around with it.

Yes, but... my experience suggests putting said wire at a few inches above one's head height with a light chain down to it; the low level version is guaranteed to get cursed regularly as it trips you and others.
