Wanted for sale or swap - Kuhn S4 spreading discs

As title.
Bought a new (to me) spreader this season - Axis 30.1 with S6 VXR discs.

due to my ignorance I didnt realise they have a minimum spread width of 24m, which is way too wide to be practical on our small-ish dairy farm fields.

I'm after a set of S4 discs, whether for sale, or if someone fancies a swap for S6 discs...! they are in good nick, no wear. ASAP really, I dont want to spread all our first cut fields with this setup, its just a hassle trying to minimise over/under laps.

Might be interested have S4 but now spread 24m so at the limit. They have done 300t or so of various fertilisers.
Where are you locate ?

Will take some pics - might be Friday. Think there is some wear but would do a couple of seasons. They are the AXR (?) coated.
Would be happy to meet half way Langholm?

Non vxr vanes are quite reasonably priced. Sub 200 for a set of s4s.

I think I’ve got a set of s4 discs in the shed. I can dig them out if you’re interested.

So... sorry to mess everyone around, my brother and dad are now saying they are perfectly happy with the s6 discs at 24 metres and they aren't keen on a swap!

Non vxr vanes are quite reasonably priced. Sub 200 for a set of s4s.

Any idea on what price vxr ones are?
The non vxr ones wear out every 250-300t

Not sure about price but out last original 10 times over, spreader was new in 07 wore out vanes in first season replaced with VXR and not changed since . Spread average of 7 artic loads per year

Non vxr are a waste of time. Wore holes in mine in a season.

another reason why not to swap.

not sure how many tons these S6 VXR discs have done, but there is zero wear on them and I think they will outlast the spreader body at our rate of use!
