Wash down hose

There was a thread before about importing Skellerup home from NZ but I'm never going to get around to that.

Any recommendations for something that will go on a biggish volume washer and last more than a couple of months.

If you talk to Chris Randrup, he probably have space it the container he brings over for the Skellerup.

Do you get those big spring "bungies" over there? For turning cows at junctions?

We had a few stuffed ones and they are perfect to slip over the first couple of metres of washdown hose to stop it kinking and splitting and wearing out, probably trebles the working life of your hoses (y) just thought I'd throw it out there.

Agree, it is hard to beat the blue skellerup hose.

Do you have a picture or link for your bunjees Pete? As you say it's the first metre or so that bursts due to repeated bending

These thingies, Big D..
Work well til Doris ploughs through it one dark foggy morning, once overstretched they are pretty useless as they twist on themselves and tangle, but thread them onto your favourite hoses and cover with some bale tape so they stay (y)(y)

I’m the one who’s imported the skellerup hose, got it through fabdec, have just replaced my original hose which is 10 years old, although we have taken those hoses outside to be used in races, I also had 4 new nozzles aswell. PM if you want the best guy to speak to at Fabdec

Using some stuff from Tp pumps 32mm internal, seems ok, kinks a tiny bit, but still ok

Be careful with those nozzles, I bought one and our pump isn’t man enough to generate any pressure, your pump would probably be ok though cow ‘n grass
