Water coming out of the top of a new borehole

Put a new borehole in and had pump installed, left it for 6 months and realised its flooded the pump room as waters come out the top. Fairly normal? I've setup an overflow so at-least it won't flood again

Neighbour's one was 360 feet when they hit water and it's coming out of the top. Capped with concrete now I think

Think that's a sign you will never be short of water & maybe don`t even need a pump.

Called artesian bore hole I think

River came up and boggered ours.

Pump better be alright, they're designed to be sat in water, helps keep the motor cool.

Well the control unit is flooded, so that's drying out in a radiator at the moment!

I got a bore done for ground source heating and we found a LOT of water under ground the drilling must've cracked all the sandstone round the bore because we sealed the pipe and the water just came up round it luckily I've a good outlet 40 feet away the 4 inch pipe that I put in has ran with inch and a half in the bottom for near 4 yrs now !!

I would think there must be a way to turn that to your advantage.

Put a one way valve on top of a casing seal, the head of water will increase flow through the pump for more water per KWH. Alternately, extend the casing however high it needs to go to avoid running over.
