Water heater for dairy

Think we need to redo water heater in dairy for parlour and tank washing. What do others have? We have solar panels ( 30kwh), and I was thinking about combination with a heat recovery system. At the moment we have a 500l tank heated by our farm2000 straw burner, the burner is the other end of farm yard and is fed by under ground pipes that have been in 25 years. Think we have leaks underground, can get the straw burner buffer tank to boiling( just below or it boils over) but not getting water hot enough in dairy. Have got immersion heater on hot water tank but it does not seem man enough to get water hot. Do people use dairy engineers or heating engineers to fit their hot water systems. Thanks in advance. Having issues with our bacto scan at the moment and thinking it is not washing at high enough temp that might be problem.

Any competent plumber should be able to do the install.

We use Cotswold hot water tanks linked to an “on demand” pump because we don’t like the type that start replenishing with cold water as they start emptying. All on timers for refill with cold water but also linked to heat recovery off the snap chiller so high proportion of replenished water is going in at around 50-60 degrees

Ours only fills when there is no vacuum.
