Water tanks tax deductible?

I remember seeing a list of certain water tanks, including the Enduramaxx being eligible for some sort of allowance? Perhaps AIA - anyone with a better memory than me? I remember ordering one off this specific list to comply, but forgot to point it out to the accountant

Normally a replacement water tank should be capital, not being a repair. I would not think the taxman going to be too concerned though. Not sure why one sort should be allowable

I think this might be what you are referring to Enhanced Capital Allowance ( ECA ) scheme. The ECA scheme means that a business can invest in energy-saving plant or machinery that might otherwise be too expensive. The first year allowances let businesses set 100% of the cost of the assets against taxable profits in a single tax year.

I'm happy I could help. The company I work for are involved in rainwater harvesting and a zero energy pump that are also covered by the ECA.
