Waterproofs for milking in

Apologies if this has been covered many times before.
With the nights dropping cooler, getting fed up of wet jeans and getting fed up of the mountain of washing, I’m thinking I need to start wearing waterproofs again for my night milkings. I stopped when it got so hot the last few months and I’ve just been in jeans and a tshirt/hoodie. Last winter I had flexothane trousers (which started leaking at spring) and a dairy spares top (but the elasticated cuffs annoyed me). So I was just wondering what people recommended for keeping yourself clean and dry whilst milking?

I use a kaiwaka bib from kiwi kit and I love it. Not cheap tbh. I might buy a new one just so I can wash and dry the other o be without rushing. Bought some fishing cuffs off ebay as milking cuffs but might a spare set of them as well. Usually just wear a hoody under the bib when it's cold.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into the bib and braces. I do wear carrhart bib and brace for work at home and do like them.
What do people wear to protect their arms/sleeves? I end up rolling my sleeves up as if I have them down they cause the cuffs on my gloves to roll up and I end up getting water inside them, but then your arms get covered in shite.

In really hot weather I've just had shorts, polo shirt, gloves, milking apron. Next level up is ordinary bib and braces and apron. Yes get sh!t on arms but I wash them as I go along. Long sleeved overalls if colder and I will probably buy some of the cuffs.
When it was really hot I did think about buying some surgical scrubs and just having an apron over those - they are light and cool and not too expensive. Won't keep water out but I don't mind cold water on hot days! One of our vets wears them for TB testing, just uses a fresh pair on every farm.

I did milk with someone in a bikini years ago. She just washed herself down with the teat wash hose at the end.

One 'find' I was very pleased with is Sainsburys sell a good cotton-lined, strong, wrist covering rubber glove. I use these for washing up the units (v hot water) and for using the power washer at the end of milking. They are too cumbersome for actually milking in but I suffer from Raynauds and have problems with dexterity due to corns on my fingers. These offer protection against the cold brass fittings on the wash hose and also reduce the pain if I bang my fingers when washing the units or catch one of the corns with the scrubbing brush.:arghh::cry::cry: As my right index finger is very bad, I cut all but this finger off on one of the gloves and wore it over my thin plastic ones for actual milking which gave me a bit of protection against kicks or knocking it on the barrels of the clusters.

I cut my overall sleeves off. Skin is easier to clean!

I hate long sleeves, I always find they catch on stuff and just feel wrong somehow. If I wear one I have a long sleeve parlour top and wear long cuffed gloves over it for when its glacial (Water feeding on the foor) You can actually stay remarkably dry (most of the time)
