Do the vets charge by the animal or the hour?

I think it's by the animal,it's all been put out to tender for best price. If your system is inefficient and it slows them down I believe they could charge the farmer a hourly rate. Don't know if it's ever happened

Didn't seem the handiest set up there. the vet didn't seem to worried though.

Suppose quiet dairy cows not so bad he did put dry cows and heifers through crush at other place. Wouldn't like to do my cows in them stalls could see vet getting there hand trapped

Does anyone have the same problem that happened when we used to tb test it didn't happen every time but more often than not....
The test caused a cow to abort but the vet said it never happens anywhere else ... who knows??

That's one of the reasons I'm ringing them to postpone my 4year test cause cows are heavy in calf
