Always used to wean first week of August in mid March - late April lambers and they’d melt like hell.
Weaned early because of the drought this year and last year and the lambs have kept doing, brought lambs in 6 days post weaning and instead of melting they’d almost all put condition on.

no thats a girl,get 2 or 3 every year with horns,we have them dehorned..... just under the chin,that one is on it's way to dunbia as we speak:D
Oh wow I havnt had any females with horns only ever rams. Not just the exlana’s though before anyone looking in says anything, I had a texel x Charolais ram lamb with massive horns curling back that went dead last week.
