Weather proofing yorkshire boarding

I'm converting a cow shed into a workshop. The current yorkshire boarding lets in rain during a storm; does anyone have creative ideas to seal up the walls cheap and easily?

Why not fill the gap with the same width roofing battens.

Or a 3" board over the gap.
Looks nice though.

Easiest way is just fix some profile tin to the outside, or if you want to keep some natural light use clear perspex sheet on the inside

External Plywood nailed on the inside maybe. Or as above a board on top of the gap to fill the gaps. Seen both and doesnt look out of place in an agri environment.

Castle board as others have said basically nail another board over the gaps,
Gives a nice Finnish compared to tin
