Weather Radar , sources ?

Where do organisations/ individuals who offer a weather forecast service to industry, general public and on here TFF get there weather radar data from?
Is it all off the back of the Met Office Radar?
I ask as installing an ACCURATE weather radar system for the whole of the Uk must be expensive and complex to install .

When you go on the lightening websites that show live strikes during a storm you can select to show the line of sight that each detector has to each strike. You’d be amazed how many there are across the uk.

I think one of the biggest radar providers is Meteo.
