Weather Headline: 17/8 mostly dry, warm and sunny but showers in the west.

Wednesday:

Another warm, sunny and dry day for most. Some cloud and showery rain may develop in Northern Ireland and parts of Wales and South West England. With a chance of thunder in places, but showers dyeing out later. Highs of 26C/78F

Mostly dry night to expect for Northern Ireland low of 15C/59F

Heads up for the end of the week: Confidence is growing now that a very deep low pressure system currently in the Atlantic, will move east over the UK and Ireland later this week, it is likely to give heavy thundery rain together with strong to gale force winds, so the message is still get mowing the weather could change by Thursday/Friday!

Looking just bit further in to next week:

And high pressure looks having another go with the south most favoured while the north sees it more changeable. As always metjeffuk will keep you updated.
