Weather Headline: Scotland NI Wet and windy elsewhere dry but colder.
We gave you the heads up of colder weather ahead and this morning is proof of that with a chilly start to the day with patchy frost in places, Wednesday should be a mostly dry day though with plenty of sunshine, although noticeably colder. Scattered showers will run down the east coast. While cloud will start to thicken in the north-west later, with rain following. High of just 13C/55F
Heads up for the rest of the week:
Thursday dry; it turns wetter and windier, through Friday and Saturday with rain at times which may be wintry over northern hills, local gales possible. Rather cold.
