Wednesday starts with frost & freezing fog in the south and this will be slow to clear. For the rest of us it will be a mostly fine day with some sunshine but with the risk of a little rain across Scotland. Temps 3 to 6C but around freezing in the fog.

Looking further ahead to the rest this week-there still remains some uncertainty in the forecast as milder weather tries to push in from the west, , but there still remains the possibility of significate snowfall across the UK on the forward edge although it is looking less likely now.
