A wet start to the day with rain and drizzle moving northwards, Showery conditions are then likely to follow in to more southern and south-western areas of England and Wales later in the day, locally heavy with hail & thunder. A windy day too with to 50mph in places, apart from the far north it will be much milder than of late across England and Wales. Highs possible of 15/C59F

Sunday11-3-18

Mainly dry start for most of N England and Scotland through the day with the exception of a few showers making it feel spring-like for Mother's Day. Outbreaks of showery rain in to England and Wales with later with some the rain likely to be locally heavy through the afternoon. Mild or very mild for many areas, Highs of 8C to 16C 46/61F

Heads up for possible severe cold returning!

Just when you think spring as arrived, (as we at metjeffuk gave you the heads up last Monday ) Farmers and Growers should be warned latest computer modling suggests the so called "Beast From The East" may have one last go at us around next weekend and into the following week, at metjeffuk we will keep you updated but this could be serious news for all Farmers as we would expect heavy snow and severe frosts to return.
