SATURDAY

High pressure extends through the British Isles on Saturday. A weak occluded front over southern England and southern Wales, moving westwards.
Cloud will be breaking in the morning bringing some bright or sunny spells for most. The best sunshine in northern England and Scotland.
A few showers in southern England, although these will be clearing away with all areas then dry. Most cloud is always going to be in eastern areas.
Winds NE F4 but F5 in the east, SW F4 in western Scotland and Ireland.
SUNDAY

A cold front passing eastwards into Scotland and eastern Ireland on Sundays reaching western Wales and western England in the afternoon.
A fair morning for most although always with a fair amount of cloud. Some scattered showers in northern England and the Midlands as well as Wales and southwest England. More persistent rain along the line of the front edging eastwards through Scotland and Ireland, this reaching northern England in the afternoon. Rain reaches western Wales and southwest England as well as northwest England in the afternoon.
Winds variable, mainly N-NE F3 in the east, W-NW F4-F5 in Scotland and Ireland.
