also depends if a large framed empty animal or a well filled one with no compensatory growth and how many kg a acre stocking rate. Imho if your looking to feed for 1.5 kg dlwg put the back in the shed

its just what ive got!!! lol we are getting 1.6/1.7 average dlwg at the moment indoors on 2/3sillage 1/3 maize and 2.5kg of wheat. so ive managed to work out housing costs and gains. so I just wanted to try a figure out grazing costs and gains?

what I guess I really want to know is how can I continue to keep 1.6 dlwg at grass. eg can it happen just on good management of grass? if not what is a good feed that will work with the grass to get that gain? I hope that makes sense. lol

thanks
