The deadline for Welsh farmers to express interest in the Farm Business Grant (FBG) has been extended.
Designed to encourage efficiency among the agricultural industry by covering capital investments in equipment and machinery, the grant application window will now close on 26 October 2018 as opposed to 5 October.
The FBG, which is administered through Rural Payments Wales, is an element of the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-20.
Wales' Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Lesley Griffiths said, “Given the lack of certainty on future funding from the UK Government, this may be the last window of the Farm Business Grant.
