I agree 2nd cut is ok , 1st cut is like straw if it gets awayAll depends on how old you let it grow and how long you leave it to dry . Younger greener stuff will be rocket fuel and old headed grass will be belly fill
Brilliant thank youYes we use it for haylage and hay from second cut for horses, sell it to anything from a happy hacker to polo ponies and amateur event horses, if you need it for natives then make it later so less sugar and protein and more fibre
