I have a westwood t1800 that keeps throwing the drive belt, it's the correct size but I think the cutting deck is set up wrong for a high cut. the belt is rubbing on a metal bar that runs from front to back! Unfortunately I've lost the manual and have been trying to lower the front of the deck, but nothings working! Any ideas??

Under one of the footboards there will be a lever, identified by a yellow sticker.

This does belt tension and needs to be clicked all the way backwards
This!!!! It’s at back of foot board on left side of machine . Lay at side of machine and look up . If it’s not tensioned (pulled to back of machine ) it will cause issues. It gets caught occasionally
