Drain the oil and weigh it in?

Take the copper leads off it, leave the oil in, and weigh it in.

I'm too old and feeble to faff about and end up with oil all over the workshop floor. It's going to have to go with the oil in it. Ebay or Facebook perhaps. It still works.

I've seen them go for £40 - £150 on Facebook and eBay!

Yes mine gave up a few years ago . It was a bloody good welder just stopped one day while welding we just replaced it with an inverter

Cooling oil will be bad , corrosive wont it , ' transformer ' oil if i recall
Tnink ive a 5 gallon of new somewere , bought for my bantom style but i got a air cooled tryange instead.
Same oil as transformer substations??
