Approximately 30 degrees is the minimum but depends on the distance you need to move it also. The steeper the better in general.

the rule is 45 degree for free flowing and 60 deg for poor flowing products ,,, but have been to many places that have bodge a lot less and it flows …. speed from elv. type of pipe and length of run will all have a bearing on this

If made from smooth plastic or stainless steel it can be shallower than mild steel as it won’t rust and cause drag

yes flour is worse ( but not as bad as custard powder ) can and happens with grain as with all products everytime you move it dust is made
