Mechanic friend of mine works on a couple of them, I remember him saying that some spares for the original type pickups are unavailable now. There's Cat and Daf engined ones . There's at least 3 within 5 miles of here farmers doing their own

In their day they were a good machine, when set up right the blower was by far the best performing on the market.
The pick up was not the best and guilty of grounding and could get knocked off its mounts going through gates.
The main clutch needs looking after and kept adjusted.
The feed roll clutch was prone to burning out because it didn't have a proper neutral position and if left in the presumed neutral whilst waiting for trailers it used,to slip and effectively burn itself out was better to shut the revs and leave them turning slowly.
The blower was great but the long knives in the chopping cylinder were prone to break off between the mounts if you picked a stone up and the broken knife could jam the blower dead at 2000rpm , which ran at 90'degrees to the drum , causing the inertia to screw the entire mounting brackets.
Visibility to the right is poor so loading to the left is only option.
Radiator prone to blocking .
Apart from that they were a machine in their day.
There's a great video on you tube of an Irish contractor still runs two of them.

I was only young when we ran a 2205 so can't really remember it, I know it was a big jump up from a 819 trailed forager though and served us well for years! One thing I do remember is It always ran hot and my uncle used to have the heaters on all summer to keep her cool until he had the rad re-cored and it was fine afterwards. If you have any specific questions I can ask my uncle, I'm sure we still have some new parts on the shelf for one.
