What breed are these chickens?

Mys sons school hatched out some chicks for the kids to watch with interest. When they got bigger, his teacher asked my son if his dad would take them home as we are the only farmers in his class.
So here they are, can anyone tell me what breeds they are as they all look different? I particulary like the black one with grey feathers.
Sorry to sound dumb but how will i tell which are cockerels and do i need to get rid of those?

far too fancy for me to even recognise I can guess some - lovely selection. Put it on a The Poultry Pages on FB or your local poultry page. Youll need to photo each one for sexing. Id say grey silkie in back nut may not be as not the greatest position , Ancona on RHS (small poss bantum) female. Id say some kind of crested Polish on the LHS looks female. Moran in middle female, Araucana is the white with black again looks female. You may be lucky these all look female to me.

I put mine on grass on moveable caravan. Keep fox away at all costs.

Left is a Polish or maybe a badly marked Houdan. Count the toes to tell. Houdan will have 5 toes, which it might have in this photo but can't guarantee.

Same with grey in the back. Looks like maybe a smooth Silkie. Will have black skin and five toes.

Middle white one is an Ameraucana. Should lay coloured eggs although that one could potentially be a roo.

Other big one looks like a Silver Sussex.

Little one on the right I'm not sure. Mottled Java maybe.

Roo's you'll know for sure when they crow. They're old enough now they should be close if not already. Nothing wrong with having a rooster if you're allowed one. Just be an issue if you ended up with a bad ratio and they over run the hens.

Dead on I’d say. Remind me to never question your chicken breed ID skills

Lavender Araucana at the back, white one is Ameraucana and Exchequer Leghorn to the right. The other 2 are not good examples of any breed I recognise. Mixed up Polish and some sort of Silver laced Orp cross Sussex or hybrid I would say. Nice birds though.

Good thing is it looks like 4 girls and a boy to me.

Thanks for the replies. I checked the one you say is a Polish and he does have 5 toes. It was a bit hard from just one photo to guess the breeds so i took some more tonight.

Deffo Lavender Araucana for the blue one. Very good hens and will lay an egg that is green inside and out. Or blue depending on your eyeballs. The Exchequer one could be a Columbine also as it's comb is not so developed. Very similar and pretty much the same. The silver laced, black thing, unless anyone has any suggestions, I suggest she is just a hen and a very nice one at that. Enjoy.

IIreckon from top to bottom an ancona, silver Sussex, and the bearded one looks like one of the many flavours of Belgian bantams you get. Youve got a lavender Araucana and a sort of Houdan as well I'd say...pretty bunch anyway!
