It may well lift it,but its swl will be a 1000kg and that will depend on check valves being fitted or not,my old doosan 30t only had a swl of 3t when used as a crane as opposed to a digger,

I had a right going on with the health and safety man, lifted a septic tank off truck with jcb, fine was on a pallet, but wanting to lift it into the hole with 30t digger,no no because I never had a swl stamped on my boom.Had to get it tested and they then put 3t swl on boom and all was well, ridiculous normal 3cx type diggers are only stamped 750kg.Said 30t digger,I did lift an 8t tank with it,and it only just managed was screeching on the valves

Morning all.

Does anyone know what lifting capacity a 12t digger has? At full height but in close, so not reaching out too far.

Thanks
Phil
After having operated 1.5 to 20 excavators i would Say that if you take bucket off machine you can manage a carefully. Lift over front of tracks a fith of the machine. Weight . But dont expect to lift to far or high
