I did see an absolute mint, silver ford 7810 on fb this morning,it really was a thing of beauty,i was thinking,it would look well in my fantasy toy box:love:,but it will remain a fantasy,as the price was £48750!!!,sorry i cant remember who was selling it:facepalm:
I had one. They're a 7810 painted silver. Nothing special. Dad got it for me for Kenya it was cheaper than a comparable blue one.

I don't get why people value the silver jubilee so much, I know they are rare, but imo they look far better in blue, and you could get 2 mint blue ones for the price of one silver one
When we bought our 7810 if Lloyds had delivered a silver one I would’ve sent it back fords are a blue tractor and look far better especially when they start to look a bit scruffy.but hell the silvers are worth a lot more

I've still got a blue one. I've seen some done up silver ones but ours never looked right obviously with the benefit of hindsight I should have kept it but there you go. I'd never sell the blue one because it was my Dad's favourite. Nowadays I don't sell anything just in case.

People seem to want to collect what they used, or couldn't afford in their youth. Pre war cars have nose dived. Same with Doe's. Ford 7000's still seem popular, so I'm hoping Super Q era Fords will hold their value for a few more decades. Prices seem highly variable though. I'd avoid anything too complicated with ECU's etc. Quite fancy this..............looks simple, but still too much leccy maybe ?

This is my latest mid life crisis.......
