Wifey bought the defender for me last xmas and it took nearly a year to build itLast nights building progress, managed not to get too carried away. Put the rear axle and transmission together but doesn’t look like much yet.

would love to hear how you get on with it; think I cocked mine up as it gets terrible torque wind up when driving more than 2 feet…maybe it’s a bit too authentic I’ve had to disconnect a prop shaft so I can ‘test’ it 
on a shelf now and drives my 2.5year old wild as he can look but not touch me no see daddy; me play with lanwover

. No work tomorrow though so can drink beer and continue the Landrover build tonight once the kids are in bed

Ive a meccanno sprayer and combine to build, had them a while but theyre not as easy to start and stop the build as lego

Not according to the Argos website - I've tried setting different locations (including Leeds) & "will travel". There's some availability with Smyths Toys for a little bit more £... for anyone tempted....

Can't get our 9 yr old son to change to Technic. He's really good at building lego. But Technic doesn't seem to interest him.
I might buy myself a set and we can build it together and see if it sparks anything.
