Think I'm going to have to go out and buy myself some technic! Was a big heavy present that I hoped was Lego. Turned out it was a George foreman grill!🤦‍♂️

Managed to get the landrover boxes off yesterday and it’s probably more impressive than a real one (probably more reliable too 🤣)

quite impressed with the suspension setup, may have to make it a project to motorise it in the future 🤔

The rear bumper assembly and lights on the Ecto-1 is super neat. An absolute joy to put together this one. End of bag 3 so far and it’s turning into one of my favourite builds. There’s so much detail being a non technic set but there’s also a ton of gadgets which involve technic mechanisms. Highly recommend this one.

Got the chassis all finished off and tested.

In present form it can climb over a lying down 5yr old boy, including head, a lying down 7 yr old boy, not including head, but can’t climb a lying down 38yr old wife unless both the 5yr old and 7 yr old are employed in sequence as ramps. And don’t go near wife’s hair……….🤭………………🙍🏻‍♀️😡

next step is finish off body and splice front and rear servo leads together to get front and rear steering working 4ws on one stick.

Got the landrover for my birthday in November really impressed with it, i do get you issues with box it’s like half the whole design is on that? Goes together really nicely though. Look on YouTube there’s some really nice fully remote control ones people have made
