My father went into a home for the last 8 months of his life when my mum couldn't cope by herself. It was clean & tidy but 1/3 of the nursing staff didn't give a sh1t, 1/3 were ok & 1/3 were brilliant. It was a lottery as to which would be on duty when I got there to see him. Bad staff management & no checks that routine was carried out. He died of a preventable infection before we could get a place at another home. No NHS help at any stage apart from the hospital trips.
I would rather die than go into that place when I am old.
What do farmers earn/acre? Varies hugely. I put my 5 year average in.
This should be a topic on its own..
Why do we as a species park old folk with NO future in homes and keep them alive, often in less than good conditions
