What happens if I drill winter wheat in the spring?
I'm assuming the world won't implode and I am also assuming it's less than ideal however, will I have a combinable crop?
I have extase wheat here that I would like to have seed treated and then plant in mid april next year
I keep having texts come through saying spring corn seed is in very short supply and therefore it's going to be expensive.
I've got 50 acres i want planted next year after an early cut of grass at the beginning of April (give or take 7-10 days from the 10th) and then the corn would be planted around the 20th of April (again give or take 7-10 days)...
Will I get 2 tonne of wheat to the acre and a half decent crop of straw?
What would be the financial benefit of buying proper spring corn seed instead?
Thanks
Edit: It is to feed to my cows, it is not to make into bread or beer if that makes a difference
