Is this cab better or worse than a Lambourn MK5? What model is this and are there rare?

Don't know which model Peter, but I had one of these on a DB 990 back in the 70's and early 80's, it was, for what is was a good cab with good door latches, reasonable access compared with other DB offerings and relatively draft proof which was important as I was doing around 4-500 hours hedge cutting each winter with it, I fitted a radio wire up to head phones in it....................hope this helps

Seem to remember they were all double paneled, so watch for rust where the moisture would sit between in inner and outer panels. 165 here had one, it was OK, not worth a premium ............

Secura cabs we fitted from about 1968 to 1973 to the S A M E tractors imported and sold by Cornish and lloyds at Bury St Edmunds and then by A C Bamlett at Thirsk when they became the importers in 1971/72. The cabs were fitted in this country from cardboard box flat packed kits.
Later the Cab Craft Company of Penkridge supplied a cab which was fabricated incorporating the tractor rear wings in the the build. Later a different make of cab was fitted to tractors on the production line in Treviglio.
