what regulations are necessary for keeping 2 pigs??

firstly it is not me but a neighbour who is buying 2 young pigs and rearing them for home kill and he thinks there are no rules and he will feed them on household waste food, for all I know this could be the case but I don't want to see him getting into trouble as he is relation also his buildings are overrun with rats thanks in advance

Sadly he is wrong. There are rules regarding keeping pigs and feeding household waste is also illegal.

As above, no domestic or commercial food waste. I’ve been keeping pigs for a while and it doesn’t matter if they are reared for your own consumption, the same rules apply.
