8 tonner would probably match on reach if the 3cx has extra dig, maybe a 5 tonner if it hasn’t. Someone else will more than likely know more.

Surely also depends whether the digger arm is front or mid mounted.

Our Volvo EC 70 arm is the same as a 3cx , I think I’m right in say the reach is 21ft .

about an 8 tonner ... and better with a long dipper.
.... trouble is with the wheeled digger he can be dragged backwards on hard going whereas a swinger, especially with a blade won't in the same hard digging.
