What size have you got x how many have you got?
;)

Platform sitting on top of wall, full 18'width.one end supported from vertical post above playform. Right hand end supported onto side wall and angle support to top of corner post.

Just keep welding bits on.

put the diagonal above the "level" platform for the IBC to sit on rather than below, steel is better in tension than compression. and it increases your clearance.

you could just cantilever it by making a gusset under(or over) the level beam like a roof cantilever. I would advise putting "web stiffeners" into your building either 1 inline with the bottom flat of the H beam (or inline with haunch if underneath) or 2 web stiffeners which I think is excessive. or just use a piece of 50*50 or 75*75 angle at 45 degrees (2 bolts per end?)

you should be able to cantilever it all from the 2 steel legs probably use either a 178*102*19 or 203*102*23 or 203*133*25 the extra cost of the heavier steel will be relatively small (£121 to £131 for 6.2 m length)

the horizontal rail from leg to leg (and from cantilever to other cantilever) doesn't really need to be as strong so could be say 150*75*18 U channel (£106 for 6.2m) is it worth going for H section for the little extra money?

make it very strong the 1st time plenty bolts either M16 or M20 if you make it the full 18ft? you could probably get 4 IBC on there? (you will never say I wish id only put 3 up but I bet you say sometimes could have done with another one!!!)

just out of my own interest I might do a similar project for rainwater harvesting how do you plan to connect the IBCs just T into each with the outlet and it will level them up itself? or only T out of 1 of them and connect the others pretty low down through the side?

could they go above the door in the middle of the shed ,..( guessing there is a door to the left )
could make two L shape brackets which bolt to the up right each side of the door
then some beams which span over the top of the door

If thats the narrowest span between uprights on the gable end that is a good idea(y)
