What steel for retaining wall

Going to use concrete panels to make a 1.5m high retaining wall. Will be 6" panels but what size steel rsj's should I use? And how deep shall I plant them? Any other tips?

How long are the panels? More posts for 15 ' than 20', so spec can be a bit lower. I think the foundation design will prove to be more significant than the size of the columns.

I think if you use a 305 x 165 you’ll do well to bend it. Buried about a meter into floor, can you put a tie bar through pillar into slab as wel?

Depends on what you are retaining
Made a whole crop silage bunker last year 2.4m high 15 ft bays
Used 2. 180 x 75 PFC chanels welded back to back to support 150mm panels
Set in 1 metre cube concrete
Made a neat job

Putting a new wall in silage pit going 203x203x60 columns 5.5m, 1.5m in concrete then 3 panels high ie 3m last 1m is for safety bar...should be ok @RWG Contracts ?

That sounds good to me, just doing one with a centre wall, 203 x 203 x 60
180mm thick panels,3m high, gone 1m down, then holding down bolts to hold steady, we then went 800mm up column, and welded 7 x 4, 1m long either side so that when concrete the floor it will key in on both sides of wall, making a lot stronger job,
