If this is a viable treatment then I’d assume it would be best sprayed on in the days after dd slot seeding to allow the spray drift to settle in the slots.

As stated we do not know the persistence exactly.
What you are proposing is a proactive treatment whereas I have always used it re-actively having identified the problem.
In a dd situation if LJ's are already near the surface then it may work, you would need to tell me. It will also nail any slugs as a bonus.
It is twice the price per hectare than Breakthruspray but the only affect we have seen on lj's with Bthru is that it drives them to the surface where crows etc eat them. We have only seen this happening in a couple of instances so it is far from definitive but in the opposite scenario to above where aiming at slugs it has had a bonus effect on Leatherjackets.
As above you will need to suck it and see with either method.
