What tailgate to choose ?

Whats the benefit of the magic door style tailgate vs the up over design besides from the obivios that bushes etc. dont get stuck ?

You can tip a load over a load giving you a higher pile also never any chance of getting stuck cause the door has you anchored to the pile when tipped.

That looks a good simple idea, why don,t more use that system?

If you want to spread gravel on a road neatly, you need an up and over tailgate to regulate the flow. The good designs like kane are unlikely to get stuff jammed in them. Magic tailgates are hopeless for spreading.

You can get a digger in those above and magic door but up and over you can’t..

My neighbour redesigned this JPM hydraulic tailgate for easier digger loading. Originally the panel was bolted in place and had to be removed to load/unload a digger.
