Neither did i, used to use them sometimes sitting horizontal in the pickupAcetylene cylinders should be transported upright if possible, if not they at least need leaving upright for a day when you get back to allow everything to settle again.
I didn't know that for years.
never realised until last week that that propane bottles are galvanised. suppose it's obvious really as you rarely see a rusty one
The acetone liquid can come out if you draw too much from the cylinder. We have a manifold system and had bother with it, what had happened was that sometimes only one cylinder had bern opened to run the manifold and therefore drawing too much. It partially blocked the mesh filters on the hoses. Was black in colour.
