What to lay patio with

Have an area to do outside the farmhouse, the options being stamped concrete, or patio paviers. I know the stamped coloured concrete will have less maintenence long term, but does it look as good as paving slabs. I'd be doing it to resemble paving slabs. It's a new build, and I don't really want to do something that maybe isn't the real deal. Opinions welcome

My neighbour has printed concrete to look like Paving and it’s bloody brilliant you’d swear they were individual bricks if I was doing one it would be concrete

Stamped concrete is ok but ,,if for any reason you need to dig up like a water pipe leak ,you chop through the concrete loosing the color and the pattern when its goes back down ,,personally I hate the stuff as it discolours and cracks after a few years .
There are some very nice paver blocks on the market ,,not all regular size ,,look at Plaspave,,Marshalls and stowmarket ,,Ive seen one using a random size block that breaks up the linear lines

I’ve just relaid our patio. Indian slate. It looks good but this time we’ve used the easy joint stuff which looks great and should last a lot longer the just normal joints.

The reason for the wide joints is because we took up the old slabs to relay and then we decided to increase the area and the only slabs we could find that were a near enough match were fractionally smaller. So we just laid them random mix and match of both.
