What would you do?

Ordered a new machine for July delivery. Rep phones today to arrange delivery for next week ........... but then tells me “ah it’s actually a 2018 machine”.
So it’s been sat outside and sent to another dealer to sit and wait and now it’s sold to me.
Well I expected a new one that hadn’t been left outside for almost 9 months
What sort of “consideration” would you think appropriate to take this machine?
Pretty much being “black mailed” by manufacturer as apparently a new 2019 machine will not arrive in time for “the season”

Dealer did not have a machine it was to be supplied to order. Dealer has been allocated a machine from the manufacturers UK stock. Some parts to be changed to meet my specification.

What a joke. I wouldn't accept it. You ordered in 2019, paid in 2019 but got 2018.

When you enquired did the mention they'd got some old stock available at a good price? No thought not
