Rapid uptake of chemical ,,,,, can happen sometimes
Okay just seen your last message ,,,,,, is it on a leaf that was sprayed three weeks ago or a new leaf , I've had some tipping from moddus / cutlass this time
When the last spray and dose of fert was applied, was that leaf 2/3 emerged? I have fertiliser scorch like that where an AN prill has lodged between the emerging leaf and the stem, or where liquid fertiliser has been applied in windy weather.
It looks like the flag leaf to me, which is a bit worrying. There's some mottling on the lower leaves too I see. Heavy land? Some big cracks in there which haven't seen rain for a bit.
Yes those are flag leaves but majority on last leaf sprayed! Yes heavy land with lots of BIG cracks! Only had 20mm in last 4 weeks! Bloody dry for us considering our average rainfall is 54"! Last dose of fert had rain next day but only a few mm and can still see residue on surface! So perhaps could be right, if a prill got stuck and not enough rain to wash it off? It's not a huge % and can't really see it as you look over the fields just when you get into it and walk through you start picking up the leaves..
