Where are all the toppers made

Having been looking at toppers recently, they all seem identical to me. Are they all made in Eastern Europe and then rebadged and painted? You see some subtle minor changes but not much. I know Concept make them for Muzri drills Razorback and at least one other company but I think it goes much further.

Major are made by Major and Abbey by Abbey. I have a 6 year old Abbey mounted. Not a huge amount of work done, but looks shabby now with rust. Gearbox also went this year! Comer, but made in China. ?
I think I’d look at the newer Major fully galvanise versions, if I was buying again.

I was looking at a heavy duty McConnell flail topper at a show and got a price. Wandered around and saw the same machine as a Twose and a Bomford and finally Ino who actually made it. Asked prices from all of them to take the machine home from the stand and the McConnell was £1000 less than Ino!

Muthing.

Job done. Dunno where they are made, could be Zagreb for all it matters. It's the design and build quality that are important and that is not really dependant upon geographical location.

People are just scared of things being made in china. Yet a lot of chinese stuff is probably superior to anything else. There's some total shite of course.
Most folk wouldn't have the first idea where or who makes half the machinery in their yard.
Hardly anything is badges up by who made it.

Spearhead 3000 here I assume is made in uk. Italian bondioli gearboxes, I can’t believe how hard I had to try to break it. Nearly unbreakable in normal use.. rushes and bushes. Took many 2foot boulders stuck half in the ground to break a shaft. Can’t see the Chinese gearboxes lasting well in comparison.
