Do you have any issues with your biomass boiler? If you struggle to get help, try this https://www.biomass-engineer.co.uk
No I don't. I used to do biomass boiler servicing, and I am very good in it. But company I work for decided to say no to the biomass. I just want help people in my spare time. Why you think we all need motive to help.you mean you don`t have an ulterior motive
I got a couple questions for you
I have a Arikazan VG60 how much wood in a year would you except to use ? approx.
Shed full
thanks for the helpsurely its a bit like saying, 'I have just bought a new car, how much fuel will it use each year?' how many miles will you be driving?!
Well where to begin. If you want some bedtime reading for a few weeks then check out my thread;https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index...dgy-installer-help-advice-appreciated.151878/
To summarize; We have a heap of rubbish, otherwise known as a CTC V40 log gasification system attached to a buffer tank with several meters of underground piping to a tank heating 2 properties, there are pumps and mixers also which are prototypes (we paid for proper pumps and mixers, but we were informed mid project that they were subbing it out to 3rd party being used as guinea pigs with no warranty. It was supposed to be heating 3 properties but it was such a disaster that we put the one property back on heating oil. Our issue is mainly that we have been 'done over' by a bunch of cowboys. They were accredited and certified with NAPIT and MCS, but as a result of not correcting our system they have lost MCS accreditation. Due to there incompetence, lies and greed, we currently have a system that does not meet building regulations, so issues with the flue, issues with the pipe diameter, issues with tank size, issues with not having a back up heating system, issues with heat loss and also building issues as they have left massive holes and cracks in our walls.
What we would like to do is have an engineers report to show what it would take to bring the system up to building regulations. If it comes in under £10,000 we should be able to go down a small claims route, if not at least we know what we need to do to make the best of a very bad job and how much it will cost to correct it ourselves (above and beyond what measures we have already done)
