Well, for the scant thanks he gets, I am surprised that he bothers.
A forecast is only an interpretation of all the variable sources of information available, and some people do like to have a whipping boy to blame when things do not work out. Our weather remains unpredictable for all the millions thrown at forecasting, sadly, but to shoot the messenger is not the way forward.
Look at the available sources of information and pick one you like.
I am grateful for Simon's input.

I know he must of posted not long after I asked the question .looked on bff the other day and his posts were the only frequent ones on there .Most other threads were days old .

Simons forecast has been as good as it can be. The jetstream this year has really been a pain.
I tend to use his and bbc local and bbc national.
But do look at ITV forecast but only to look at Lucy Verasamy!
