Big problems in that plan as of it is a new tractor a fendt engineer can not work on a tractor that has been chipped or remapped .the trick is to buy the lowest hp with the same displacement and weight carrying capacity, cause end of the day they all chip to the same peak hp
for example, if u buy a vw 1.6 tdi, 75hp, 90hp and 105hp all chip to 140hp the only difference is software. same can't be said for the 2.0, but in the tractor world its the same game as vw's 1.6 tdi
United States and European Union:Big problems in that plan as of it is a new tractor a fendt engineer can not work on a tractor that has been chipped or remapped .
There is no way I would pay the money for these tractors and then have anyone fool with them mechanically or electronically. They would be operated explicitly within the warranty terms.
Buy the fudging right size tractor to begin with.
There's somebody hiding behind it.
Does he know they are meant to be green with red wheels? Here’s my contractor and family members new one
You can buy them in “municipal” livery on the continent. Probably here too if you *really* wanted it ..The fendts I saw were orange in Iceland.
plenty of 936 stock machines being sold as the massive price hike to the new range has put people off. Neighbour demo’d a 942 but bought an ex demo 936 to replace his drilling tractor as the 942 was 1.25 ton heavier
With such a weight difference farmers will have to move up to a 939 at least to keep the power to weight ratio when all the old stock machines have been sold.
Unless they think the next generation 800 series can do the job...…………...Im thinking we may well see an 832 or 833 flagship which might interest some compaction conscious 900 users.
