Which virus/spyware/malware

Got a PC running very slow for internet browsing and I've found a file called 'Recylcer' where the operating system is stored on the C: drive. Google is saying remove it but the virus checker on the PC is not picking it up (Bullguard) so I want to put something else on from a USB stick drive to clear it up.

Any suggestions please?

Malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.org/ works very well alongside your antivirus, I have Mcafee which is good(free for first year with new pc) but I had to turn off the 'real time scanning' as it slows down internet speed.

Bin McAfee (slows everything down to much) and install Micosoft Security Essentials (just click) its free and very good.
Use Firefox as the default browser and do a disk cleanup (C:/properties/diskcleanup) every few days.

Sometimes the cure (McAfee) is as bad if not worse, than the disease

Also uninstall anything that you don't like the name of. Check the names of all programs carefully as they have different names as a saved program.

Yeah, I went into Pc World and signed up to macafee and know how cloud to safe guard my precious spray records. unfortunately macafee won't allow know how cloud to down load the executable it need to install on my PC. You couldn't make it up. What a crock of sh**e.

We use Kaspersky on my networks that I manage, it works a treat and has a good threat protection on all levels.
